Sam Craig joined Craig & Heidt in 1980 and has held his current position since 1999. In 1978, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Craig began his professional career with U.S. Rubber Reclaiming Company, Inc. (now Genstar Recycling) of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Beginning as a research and development engineer, his responsibilities included R&D into the uses of scrap, recycled and reclaimed rubber and other polymers in highway paving materials.
Mr. Craig served as president of the Asphalt Pavers Association of Houston in 1985.

Charles Craig , a native Houstonian, began his career with The Western Co. of North America in 1952 after graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
Teaming with J.C. Kingsbery in 1959, the Craig & Kingsbery partnership specialized in asphalt paving throughout the 1960's and early 70's. After incorporating the company as Craig & Heidt in 1973, Mr. Craig has overseen steady growth and an expansion of services offered by the company.

Kay Craig grew up and attended schools in the Spring Branch area. She completed her formal education with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston in 1976.
In addition to her corporate duties, Ms. Craig serves as Office Manager of Craig & Heidt, is in charge of Human Resources and shares Safety Program Coordinator duties with Raymond Lahti.

Chad LeBlanc joined Craig & Heidt in June 1999 as an estimator and has held his current position since May 2004. Chad handles project management and estimating duties for the company.
